ZETDC shall enter into any necessary commercial, technical, operational and trading agreements with Solarcollab (including transmission connection agreement (TCA)) pertaining to Solarcollab’s proposed solar power plants. Please note that ZETDC negotiates power purchase agreements (PPAs) with developers whose projects are licensed by the regulator and are backed by full feasibility studies.
Community solar, also referred to as a solar garden, is a form of distributed electricity generation that involves a solar energy farm with multiple subscribers who buy a portion of the power generated and then receive a credit on their electric bill. Community solar addresses this issue and makes a clean energy option available to more people.
