Description

Description

2 MW Solar Park - Indian Renewable Energy Agricultural Program

Located in Jeevana Village, Sayla Tehsil, Jalore District, Rajasthan, India

Solarcollab India assists landowners to produce power by hosting a solar park on their vacant rural farm land. We fund the construction of the solar farm so they retain ownership of the government backed 25 year power purchase agreement. Due to favorable Government policies, landowners in rural India can now become solar energy farmers, and learn how to fund and manage the operation of their own solar farm project. We have multiple ways to raise the funds for the solar energy farm. One way is to raise the capital through our crowdfunding platform that leverages blockchain technology for increased efficiencies, security, trust and transparency. The profits that are generated from the clean electricity produced by the solar park are used to pay off the development and construction of the solar park and the residual profits are distributed back to the landowner and investor owned solar park.

How it works

Step 1

Got Land?

Landowners who have a minimum of 10 - 14 acres of flat, cleared land in North Carolina are eligible to host a community owned solar farm.

Step 2

Land Application

Click on the "Site Land Details" tab above and scroll down and fill out our "Host A Solar Farm Application Form" to see if your land qualifies.

Step 3

Feasibility Study

Once we approve your land to host a solar farm, Solarcollab will complete a solar design and feasibility study that models energy projections.

Step 4

Solar Farm Funding

Solarcollab works in close collaboration with landowners to raise the capital for the solar farm through our crowdfunding investment platform.

Step 5

Solar Farm Construction

Solarcollab has a global partner network of solar construction companies that have decades of experience installing solar farms.

Step 6

Generate Solar Electricity

Solarcollab manages the interconnection process with the local utility to purchases the electricity produced by the solar farm.

Targeted Project Costs

All target costs listed  are projections that we use for our investment and economic modeling.  You will notice that these costs are well below the national average when referencing NREL benchmark research data. Solarcollab cost optimizes all soft and hard costs by using emerging technology automated smart contract code to increase efficiencies, reduce intermediaries that ultimately decrease overall  project costs.  Our equipment procurement department focuses on driving our panel module cost per watt down by buying in bulk, purchasing overstock and/or discontinued models.

Landowner Benefits

What Makes A Good Solar Farm Site Location?

Solarcollab’s Fast Track Landowner and Community Owned Solar Farm program leverages Fintech protocols on the blockchain that allows us to be able to develop these solar projects in a low cost model so that we can offer equity shares of the solar project to the landowner and local community.  Profits that would normally go to a large corporation, are now redirected back to the local community. Check to see if your land meets the following criteria:

  • Land located in{{mpg_county_name}} County, {{mpg_state_name}}

  • You need at least 10+ acres of cleared unobstructed land.

  • Land should be within two miles of a utility sub-station.

  • Land should be flat with front road access.

  • Land should have no environmental zoning restrictions.

Complete every field in this form and we will start the process to see if we can bring a community owned solar farm to your local area. Please remember, we need all the information requested below to proceed.
