Description
2 MW Solar Park - Indian Renewable Energy Agricultural Program
Located in Jeevana Village, Sayla Tehsil, Jalore District, Rajasthan, India
Solarcollab India assists landowners to produce power by hosting a solar park on their vacant rural farm land. We fund the construction of the solar farm so they retain ownership of the government backed 25 year power purchase agreement. Due to favorable Government policies, landowners in rural India can now become solar energy farmers, and learn how to fund and manage the operation of their own solar farm project. We have multiple ways to raise the funds for the solar energy farm. One way is to raise the capital through our crowdfunding platform that leverages blockchain technology for increased efficiencies, security, trust and transparency. The profits that are generated from the clean electricity produced by the solar park are used to pay off the development and construction of the solar park and the residual profits are distributed back to the landowner and investor owned solar park.
